Our basketball team were fortunate enough to win the first runner up for the 2014 MSSD Competetion on last year.A big shout out to our Basketball Club team members, without their effort, I don’t think that we can get the first runner up for the MSSD competition. We also hope that our team can perform much better than the previous year in order to make proud and pride to our club !

Hey Guys ! Our club is going to organize a 3D2N trip to Pulau Redang for the upcoming semester break . The main purpose that we organize this trip is to encourage our members to make new friends as well as having a great bonding time after all the competition .
Here’s the information for the Redang Island trip

Hey Guys ! There will be a Street Basketball Game which open to all the students in Sunway University . It will be held on 6th June 2015 from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm at Sunway Basketball Court . If you are interested please register yourself at SSD Basketball Booth on 2nd May starting from 10 a.m – 5 p.m . You are suggested to form a group with 3 members and fees are RM 10 per group . We would like to welcome everyone come and join us for the basketball game.

Biography
Our current president, Justin Heng was elected as Sunway Basketball Club president on 17th November 2014. He’s currently studying Year 2 Bachelor in Accounting & Finance in Sunway University. He has a great interest in basketball. Justin was introduced into our national sports school when he was in 13 years old and this makes him love basketball game a lot. He has been part of the Malaysia Youth Basketball Club Competition in 2012. Justin felt very proud about himself that he had won many medal in some major basketball competition.

We would like to “ignite you basketball spirit” by attending our new orientation day on 9th March 2015 at Sunway University Basketball Court. The orientation day will be kicked off at 9.00 am till 2.30 pm. Please take note that sports attire are compulsory to all of the new members. If you are bringing your friends to the orientation day, she or he must also register, you are not allowed to register two people in one time.

9th FEB 2015. Our orientation day was held from 9.30 am – 2.00 pm. Our orientation was kicked off by our president Justin who gave his brief talk about our Basketball Club Team. There was an ice breaking activities in our orientation event after the short talk by our president of the Basketball Club. The main purpose of having an ice breaking activities were to make sure our team will get to know each other. Later on in the afternoon, our club was also held a friendly match in Sunway Basketball Court before the event ends.
